Role Summary
Assistant Manager (Financial) Projects will be responsible for performing several activities related to funded projects, including data gathering and analysis, cash flow monitoring and reporting, tax compliance, review of financial reports, prepare financial information & reports etc. to complete funded projects according to business needs and internal and external deadlines.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the financial compliance of funded projects with all applicable policies, procedures, and taxes.
  • Ensure adequate internal controls are in place and suggest improvement where weakness in controls is observed.
  • Effective financial management of the assigned projects portfolio to ensure timely processing of payments.
  • Custodian of financial records, the point of contact with executing agencies and other stakeholders on routine financial matters.
  • Monitoring and Management of overall books of accounts of funded projects.
  • Ensure that relevant record and monitoring information adhere to the funding requirement.
  • Assist line Manager by monitoring budget expenditure to ensure expenses of funded projects are contained within approved budgets.
  • Facilitate & manage internal & external audits of funded projects.
  • Any other task assigned by management from time to time.
  • Flexible to travel within Pakistan.
Knowledge, Qualification, Skills, and Experience
Qualification and Experience

  • CA-Intermediate (Articles from a reputable firm) or
  • Member ACCA/ACMA with 2 years of experience or
  • Bachelors in Finance/Accounts with minimum 3 years relevant work experience
Knowledge/Skills

  • Adequate knowledge of finance, accounting, audit, taxation, and banking
  • Audit, IFRS, Contract Evaluation, Taxation, Communication Skills, MS-Office, Presentation Skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A self-starter that can work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of computerized accounting software and advanced Excel.
  • A team player.
  • Service-oriented.
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of startup landscape will be a plus
