By sponsoring selected startups to visit top-ranked international incubators and accelerators, this initiative aims to empower the Pakistani entrepreneurial community with the knowledge, networks, and resources necessary to succeed on the international stage.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Pakistani Startup – Must be operational in Pakistan’s startup ecosystem.
  • Startup Age – Less than 5 years old.
  • International Admission – Must have secured a spot in a globally recognized incubator/accelerator.
  • Scalability & Innovation – Must demonstrate high growth potential and market readiness.
  • Commitment – Founders must fully participate in program activities, including international engagements.
  • Exclusion – Startups previously funded by BridgeStart Pakistan are ineligible.

Sponsorship Mechanism

BridgeStart Pakistan offers financial support through two mechanisms:

  • Reimbursement for Startups
    Startups that have already incurred expenses for their international program can apply for reimbursement.
  • Pre-Departure & Program Sponsorship
    Selected startups may receive sponsorship to cover expenses before or during their international engagement.

Eligibility for Sponsorship

  • Confirmed International Admission – Must have secured a spot in a globally recognized incubator/accelerator.
  • Innovative & Scalable Business Model – Demonstrates strong market potential and innovation.
    Founder Commitment – Founders must pitch to the Expert Committee (EC) and exhibit dedication, expertise, and execution ability.
    Alignment with BridgeStart Objectives – The startup should contribute to Pakistan’s economic growth, global visibility, and knowledge transfer.
    Financial Justification – A detailed breakdown of the requested sponsorship amount must be provided.

Duration:
The BridgeStart Pakistan Program operates on a rolling basis, and applications are processed as received. Eligible startups are encouraged to apply before the end of the 24-month program duration to avail themselves of this opportunity.
