Summary

The purpose of the project was to develop stent system integrated with a smart displacement sensor; this diagnostic tool consolidated with a Radio Frequency (RF) component. The resulting product combining the advantages of a Coronary Stent system, along with non-invasive monitoring capabilities. Precisely, the product is a hybrid sensor-based cardiac stent device to help cardiac patients suffering from early and late stent related complications at a very low/affordable cost
