“IT, Science & Technology Expo & Competitions 2014” at International Expo Center, Lahore” held under the auspices of Punjab government turned out to be an engaging 3-day program in which ICT Companies and universities from all across the country participated and exhibited their products and research work.
In total 42 Universities/Institutions have participated from all over the Pakistan in the exhibition wherein students have displayed more than 100 research projects. 120 stalls were sponsored by the Ministry of Information Technology. In addition to this 12 major industries also participated and exhibited their products.
Furthermore it helped facilitate the process of technology revolution in Pakistan by motivating both academia and industry to acquire, promote and utilize state-of-art technologies and software for the rapid development of innovative products. The entire event was a remarkable promotion of Pakistan’s image as a nation rich in high tech workforce, capable of developing innovative products and providing high-tech services.
