The project was aimed to develop a reliable, efficient and cost effective Intra-cardiac Signal Acquisition, Analysis and Display (ISAAD) system.
It was capable of acquiring intra-cardiac electro gram (ICEG) signals through catheters placed directly on the heart surface of the patient and could analyze and display it on multiple display units. The capability of the system to intelligently differentiate various intra-cardiac abnormalities can assist physicians in the diagnosis of an abnormal rhythm.
