Ignite (formerly National ICT R&D Fund Company) is planning to launch a Digital Skills (DigiSkills) Training program for 1 Million participants. Ignite has done spadework in defining the scope of the program which is presented in next sections of this paper. Main purpose of the event, DigiSkills Consultative Conclave, is to solicit feedback about the approach adopted by the Ignite team. It is expected that the Conclave will result in defining detailed scope as well as execution approaches of DigiSkills Program. Queries pending to date shall also be presented in the Conclave. RFPs to be floated shall also be finalized subsequent to the proceedings of the event. Segments invited in the Conclave include representatives from:
- HEC/Members of National Curriculum Review Committees/Universities
- Provincial Educational Secretariats
- Education Experts
- ICT Industry
- Industry associations (Pasha, Open, TIE etc.)
- 4th industrial wave think tanks
