Main Purpose (Role Summary)
  • The primary responsibility is to facilitate effective communication and synergy between various Ignite Company and Ministry of IT & Telecom. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently and effective communication and coordination activities are performed.
Principal Accountabilities (Duties & Responsibilities)
Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Ministry and Ignite Company to ensure timely and effective communication.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings between Ministry officials and representatives from the Company to discuss matters and assignments assigned to Company.
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align the activities and goals of the Company with the overall objectives of the Ministry.
  • Coordinate for effective execution of events and awareness programs
  • Facilitate development of periodic progress reports and subsequent submission to higher authorities.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of relevant external stakeholders, including (but not limited to) ministries, attached departments, funding agencies, R&D organizations, non-governmental organizations, chambers of commerce, associations, academia and the industry.
  • Carrying out research on International Best Practices and suggestions for implementation.
  • Preparation of Meeting Minutes and issuance of the same.
  • Preparation of letters, relies and record management.
Qualification & Experience
  • Should have at least Sixteen years of degree in Business Administration or International Relations.
  • Certification or Diploma in Project Management would be a preference.
  • Should have at least at least 5-7 years post-qualification work experience in a similar position.
  • Should possess adequate experience in the coordination activities at national level.
  • Experience & knowledge of the business process and project management would be a plus.
  • Should be a team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Should possess the capability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Possess knowledge of working in a public sector environment.
  • Proficient in using modern office tools with good typing speed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative working environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address issues and challenges.
  • Effective prioritization and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
