About NGIRI

The program aims to assist final year undergraduate students of ICT related disciplines studying in the Institutions by providing them financial assistance for developing prototypes / working models of their Final Year Projects (FYP) in order to increase creativity, innovation and hands on engineering and development skills.

The Program has been divided into two phases:

Phase – I: (Funding of FYP)

FYP are selected for funding with following financial breakup:

Equipment:                  Maximum up to Rs. 84,700/-

Miscellaneous:             Maximum up to Rs. 12,100/-

Phase-II: (National Championship)

Selected FYP from participating institutions will be invited to compete for the National Championship. Winners will be awarded following prizes:

National Champion

Project Team (up to 4 Students)                       Cash Prize of Rs: 400,000

Project Supervisor                                            Cash Prize of Rs: 100,000

First Runner Up

Project Team (up to 4 Students)                       Cash Prize of Rs: 275,000

Project Supervisor                                            Cash Prize of Rs: 75,000

Second Runner Up

Project Team (up to 4 Students)                       Cash Prize of Rs: 150,000

Project Supervisor                                            Cash Prize of Rs: 50,000
