Summary

This research project focused on design and development of an effectively comprehensive access control framework to assure that IT operations of any enterprise can achieve reliable access control management for their applications hosted on SaaS delivery model of Cloud. This framework provides high-level of extensibility and security by incorporating multiple access control models pertaining to the needs of Cloud service consumers (organizations). This project can serve as an incubator and capacity builder for private and public sectors, higher education and research institutes by providing an open-source access control solution through which they can secure their data on cloud or perform research and analysis on upcoming and existing access control models with respect to heterogeneous nature and security challenges of Cloud.
