Summary

The major scope of the project was improvement in aerospace NDT infrastructure in Pakistan. During the project execution, capacity was built in the field of aerospace NDT through improved understanding of NDT signals acquired while scanning aircraft structures. Prominent features were:
1. Detection and profiling software including documentation (user manual, technical report, detection and profiling results ) & Training. 2. Historical NDT database
3. Prognostics Software including documentation
4. Better planning of repair/replace activity based on knowledge of remaining useful life (RUL) of component through prognostics algorithms developed and applied on historical NDT database generated.
