Ignite (Formerly National ICT R&D Fund) sponsored “International Conference on Schumpeterian Entrepreneurship and the Spread of Entrepreneurship” organized by Sure Institute, Society for Urban & Rural Entrepreneurship held on 9th December, 2012 at a Hotel in Lahore.
ICSE 2012 was aimed to generate interest, awareness and promote entrepreneurship in Pakistan with a congregation of famous keynote speakers who have a potential to turn around Pakistan’s outlook and to improve the future of the youth of this nation.
“Mr. Fawad Younus and Ignite (Formerly National ICT R&D Fund) have been more than helpful to promote ICSE 2012, so we would like to extend our extra thanks”, said the management of ICSE 2012 while appreciating the efforts of Ignite (Formerly National ICT R&D Fund) for promoting and sponsoring the event.
December 9, 2012; was the first day of ICSE 2012 and the basic concept was based on a round table discussion forum with key speakers such as Chairman ICSE; Iqbal M. Khan, Professor Emeritus Dr. J. Hanns Pichler; President for Austrian Institute of SME Research, Professor Dr. Paul D. Reynolds; Research Professor from George Washington University and Fawad Younus; GM Monitoring from the Fund. The discussion topics included ICT oriented dialogue that are essential to determine what kind of ICT policy is required to make an effective and competitive strategy in the world market for Pakistan. These policies will help to create small firms and an enabling environment for SME’s and IT firms. We will need a change in mind-set and education policy to promote these aspects.
