Job Responsibilities:

Setup & administer the network of computers & computer resources in Domain Environment.
Installation, Configuration & Administration of both Server software & Server Hardware necessary to establish a secure Network.
Installation, configuration & administration of client software & hardware.
Installation, configuration & administration of Proxy Server & Email Server.
Implement network security policies at all levels of the network using both software and hardware resources..
Apply software updates, patches & configuration changes both at Servers & client machines.
Troubleshoot routine network problems.

Qualification & Experience:
Should have Master’s/Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences / Information Technology (MCS/BCS/BS). Certifications in Managing Networks, Servers & Clients will be an added advantage. Should possess at least 2 years of experience as network administrator on a medium size network of servers, clients and peripherals. Should possess capability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. All prerequisites to establish secure Network Domains under MS Windows Server Environment. Configure MS ISA Server or equivalent proxy server to ensure secured & fast internet browsing. Configure MS Exchange Server for email communication within & outside the organization with centralized configuration of tasks, calendars & appointments in MS Outlook environment. Configuration of Routers, Switches & Firewall. Routine Data Backups with disaster recovery plans. Analytical & troubleshooting skills.

General Manager Solicitation & Evaluation

Job Responsibilities:

Primary job responsibility will be to receive, analyze and approve solicited and unsolicited proposals according to the themes and guidelines defined by the R&D Fund Company Board.

Job Description:
Developing Proposal solicitation and evaluation strategies
Provide the services of research, prospect identification, proposal design, evaluation and solicitation strategies.
Design a conceptual framework to help evaluators assess the extent to which the project generally supports the broad policy objectives.
Identification of theme and project definition
Identify, develop and maintain themes and project definitions for consideration by the Board. Define projects corresponding to theme.
Monitoring review process
Research, review, evaluate and edit proposals developed by principal investigators.
Create an external review panel for external evaluation of proposals, depending on the funding activity in progress.
Coordinating with other departments
Work closely with other departments to ensure timely involvement of research bodies and principal investigators, disbursement of funds, effective monitoring, publishing of results and beneficial commercialization.
Approval on technical proposals
Analyze evaluation results synthesized by evaluation managers. Assess their implications for R&D Fund program performance.
Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
Monitor the day-to-day operations to ensure that the department is meeting goals and objectives, is following policies and procedures and is adhering to deadlines, takes corrective action as appropriate.

Qualification & Experience:
Master’s degree in Telecom/Electronics/Electrical/Computer Systems Engineering or Computer Sciences / Information Technology from a reputable University recognized by HEC. Ten years post qualification work experience in the similar position preferably with a donor agency or a nonprofit organization. Work requires communications, analytical and organizational skills.
